School Involvement: Founder of the Wilden After-School Program, which puts laptop computers in the hands of students who ordinarily would not have access outside of school.  The program teaches students in grades 4-7 computer skills and also provides homework support.  The program just completed its third year, and over the years, Bob visited with the students to help and encourage them. Upon successful completion of the program, students get to take home their laptop computers.

Why Bob is a BIE Partner: Bob provided the initial funding for the program through the Falls Church Education Foundation to FCCPS. He was the guiding force behind the implementation and success of the program.
