ESOL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Purpose: To aid the School Board in matters pertaining to the education of students participating in the ESOL program in the school system from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Authority:  School Board Policy 5.12 (I-3)
Appointment Month: May & June
Term: July 1 - June 30 for two years (alternating terms)
Composition: 10 members Four community members, four parents with one representing each school, one chairman, and one student representative.

All meetings are held from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
