Service projects are led and executed by students at the elementary, middle and high school levels.
This year's event took place on Monday, January 16, 2023 and yielded the following results:
Over 2,100 Power Packs were assembled and several hundred pounds of canned goods delivered to local food bank Food for Others
Over 25,000 pasta meals were packaged for The Outreach Program to be distributed locally and in Ukraine
Used sports gear was collected and sorted to be shipped to Africa
Enrichment toys were made by students for animals at the local pet shelter
Reusable tote bags could be purchased for sustainability efforts
INOVA Bloodmobile was on site for those donating the much-needed gift of blood
And over 500 students and families participated for a day ON of service and community building!
