Students should stay home from in-person learning and other activities if they have any of the symptoms below:
Fever ≥ 100.4°F / 30°C | Stay home until fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications like Tylenol |
Cough | Stay home if coughing is severe or uncontrolled, or your child has wheezing or difficulty breathing until symptoms have improved |
Vomiting | Stay home until vomiting has stopped overnight and your child can keep food and liquids down in the morning |
Diarrhea | Stay home until:

Rash | Stay home for oozing or raised rashes that cannot be covered by clothes or bandages until lesions have scabbed over or are dry. |
Pink Eye (conjunctivitis) | Stay home if your child has yellow or green eye discharge and see a healthcare provider. If they have bacterial conjunctivitis, stay home while symptomatic or until your child has been on antibiotics for at least 24 hours. |
