All five schools earned recognition as Virginia Purple Star Schools for supporting military families. In our schools are many military families who are assigned to the DC area and choose to live in the City of Falls Church.
Whether military-connected students are in Falls Church for a short time, or they arrive, leave, and return to FCCPS several times over the course of their parents' military careers, they are welcomed into the school community. A Purple Star certificate is displayed in each school entry.
