Current Issues

FCCPS is committed to fostering strong partnerships between the school district and the community. School Board Advisory Committees play a vital role in this effort by providing valuable input and advice to the FCCPS School Board on a variety of issues.

These parent engagement groups of dedicated volunteers represent diverse perspectives within our community. By serving on these committees, parents and community members can actively participate in shaping the future of our schools.

Advisory committees provide a platform for parents and community members to:

• Share their insights and concerns.

• Provide feedback on district policies and initiatives.

• Help develop policy and budgetary recommendations for the School Board.
